What do you get when you cross the gritty nature of Travis Tritt with the soul of Waylon Jennings and powerhouse vocals of Pat Green? None other than the unique sound of Harry Luge…

Luge began honing his skills as an artist at the early age of 5 when he participated in a bible church concert. This experience led to the incredible opportunity of being asked by Dick Van Dyke to sing with him at the March of Dimes Telethon in Scottsdale, AZ. This ignited a spark within and he spent the next seven years filming over 30 national commercials for companies like Toys R Us, Captain Crunch cereal, Slip & Slide, Chevrolet and more. These moments were just the beginning of his path to success in the entertainment industry.

During his teenage years, Luge stepped away from the entertainment industry to focus on athletics and his education. While away from the music scene, the strong work ethic instilled in him by his father fueled him to work a variety of jobs. The entertainment industry seemed to be calling his name once again and he stumbled upon the SCC’s music program. His love for performance was instantly rekindled.

While at SCC, Luge started a new karaoke company and began booking karaoke shows at his father’s honky-tonk that soon turned into other opportunities at clubs and music festivals across the states. Shortly thereafter, Luge formed a band and performed at his father’s honky-tonk along with other clubs, casinos, rodeos and NASCAR races. In 2013, Luge found himself at a crossroads when he lost his beloved father to cancer.  Feeling like he and his wife had to start over, they began weighing their options for employment. Luge’s wife decided she would get a job that provided insurance so he could continue singing in honky-tonks once again and follow his dreams.

A husband and proud father of three, Luge strives to create a unique sound of his own, one that tells a story full of truth, hurt and hope.  Throughout his career, Luge has had the honor of opening shows for many of his idols and biggest inspirations, including Merle Haggard, Cody Johnson, Aaron Watson, Randy Rogers Band, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Chris Ledoux, Neal McCoy, Martina McBride, Montgomery Gentry and many more.  “I did not grow up in a home with musical influences, but I know now that God blessed my life with the stories to tell and the opportunities for me to learn,” says Luge of his music career.

Currently Luge is performing over 250 shows a year in Arizona, Texas, Nevada, and Tennessee. “Music and Wine” written by Luge and produced by award winning producer Dennis Money is his latest single release to Texas radio.  His music is available at iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and other digital platforms.
